SAN DIEGO, CA, August 1, 2012 − Visage Imaging, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Pro Medicus Ltd. (ASX: PME), announced today they have signed a definitive agreement completing the sale of the Amira Division to Visualization Sciences Group (VSG).

The €12.1 million transaction was originally announced as a signed, binding letter of intent on July 2, 2012, which closed July 31, 2012. Post sale, Visage Imaging now has a singular focus on the needs of the global Diagnostic Imaging and Radiology markets. Visage Imaging’s flagship Visage 7 enterprise imaging platform delivers amazingly fast, thin-client, server-side processing technology delivers enterprise diagnostic, clinical and mobile viewing solutions for healthcare institutions seeking to dramatically accelerate and enhance the delivery of radiology services.
