Visage®7 Universal Viewer

With Visage 7 you obtain a single thin client software application for reading, processing and reviewing every type of exam from plain film and mammography to cardiac CT. The powerful display protocols provide a consistent experience across all modalities and types of exams. 2D, 3D, and 4D viewing and all available tools can be easily combined in a single display and without switching between applications.

Multi planar viewing of multiple volumes is a native part of the primary interpretation software. This allows every user to generate coronal, sagittal, and oblique reformations on the fly, and switch instantly between thin and thick slices without leaving the application or losing the current point of focus.

Radiologists, clinicians, and referrers can access data independently from a single server system with a consistent user interface.

The Visage 7 client natively supports all current Windows and Mac OS client platforms, and its user interface (GUI) and documentation is available in a multitude of languages.

Visage 7 Client

Below are the minimum and recommended system requirements for client computers running the Visage 7 Universal Viewer.

Operating system and software

  • Windows XP (32/64 bit),
  • Windows Vista (32/64 bit),
  • Windows 7 (32/64 bit),
  • Mac OS X 10.5,
  • Mac OS X 10.6.

Processor

  • Intel Pentium IV or higher recommended

Main memory

  • 1 GB RAM

Monitor and Graphics

  • 1 to 4 viewing monitors supported.
  • Additional monitors for RIS and other functions supported.
  • Resolution: 1024x768 or more.
  • True color graphics cards.
  • For very high resolution monitors, we recommend OpenGL accelerated graphics.

Network (LAN)

  • Gigabit Ethernet recommended for LAN operation.
  • Bandwidth: 6 MBit/s or more recommended,  512 Kbit/s minimum
  • Latency: 60 ms or less recommended

Server Platforms

Visage 7 does not require and proprietary hardware components, but relies entirely on standard server hardware. Please contact Visage Imaging for a list of qualified platforms.
