
Visage VR
The Visage™ VR Volume Rendering software provides embedded software libraries for accelerated visualization of medical and bio-medical image data. Visualization techniques include multi-planar reconstruction (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP), shaded and classical volume rendering (SVRT), shaded-surface display (SSD), and many others.
Visage VR is designed to address the challenges of today’s and tomorrow’s 3D and 4D imaging – including multi-slice CT scanners, whole body MR exams, confocal microscopy, electron tomography, multi-modality exams, and other applications that process and display large image volumes.
Visage VR is built for use with mainstream graphics accelerator technology such as the NVIDIA QuadroFX™ graphics boards. In contrast to many other solutions on the market, Visage delivers unique rendering performance without requiring any proprietary hardware components.
