amira Microscopy Option is the comprehensive option for visualization of microscopy data. It includes specific readers for microscopy data as well as a complete deconvolution module for 3D images.
- The set of data readers provided with the Microscopy Option allow amira users to import virtually any data format generated by microscopy acquisition
- Deconvolution is the process of increasing image quality and resolution by computationally compensating artefacts of the recording process, such as light scattering
The Microscopy Option comes with hands-on examples on actual microscopy datasets which show you how easy it is to clean up your images through correcting the so-called Z-drop, applying blind and non-blind deconvolution, and measuring and reconstructing the characteristics of your imaging system.
